John has been a partner in the firm since it was formed in 1980. John is a skilled trial lawyer, and his primary areas of practice include family law, commercial litigation and consumer fraud. In addition, John represents a number of corporations concerning all matters that affect the operation of their businesses. John holds memberships in the American Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, and the Eastern Jackson Bar Association. He has served on various committees advising these associations in matters relating to family law, commercial litigation and business torts.

John is a longtime resident of Independence, Missouri. He has been involved in numerous civic, school and athletic activities related to the City of Independence, its school system and youth programs.
